The Perkinson Center for the Arts & Education:

SUSTAINS our community’s local artists and performers.

BRINGS world-class music, dance, theater, artists, art education to Chesterfield County-- a first for our region.

OFFERS workshops and courses for music, theater, crafts, jewelry-making, photography, writing, and more to kids, teens, and adults from all levels of experience.

PROVIDES an affordable space for area dance schools, theaters, musicians, and other performing arts.

SUPPORTS area schools and nonprofits by tailoring programming to their needs to help engage our communities in the arts no matter the age, race, or financial background.

Perkinson Center Amazon Wish Lists

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Perkinson Center for the Arts and Education is grateful for the donations we receive, whether they be through monetary donations, supplies, or volunteerism. Below you will find several lists that contain items we need on a regular basis and a few items that will help us jump start new programming. Please consider joining us in our mission to transform lives through the arts here at the Perkinson Center by making an in-kind donation today!

Donations can be dropped off at the center by scheduling a drop off appointment or by checking out our Amazon Wish Lists. Items purchased though our Amazon Wish Lists will be delivered directly to the center via Amazon. Take a Seat

With a $1,000 contribution to the Chesterfield Cultural Arts Capital Campaign, you can permanently commemorate your support for the arts in Chesterfield County with an engraved plaque on one of the seats in the state-of-the art Jimmy Dean Theater. There are a limited number of seat sponsorships left.  Click here to purchase your theater seat plaque online or email us for assistance. Financing options are available!

Volunteer

Looking for a way to have an even more intimate experience with the arts? Sign up to volunteer! Opportunities include but are not limited to overseeing the gallery space during open hours, greeting patrons at the box office, ushering guests to seats during performances, being onsite for special events or during art workshops to offer extra hands. Please contact us with your interest and availability.
